Since the actual dream itself was confusing and I can not remember much, including which pieces are from the same dream, I will just mention key parts:
I was at work. A friend from my past was there. We were doing a gift exchange and my friend bought a DVD shelf with 100 DVDs. I had only brought a small gift.
I was under a blanket with my dog. Someone next to me was shooting off roman candle and mortar shell fireworks. I was really worried that they were going to hit me or my dog.Â
I was floating in a pool, laying on top of somone who was on a pool raft. It was relaxing and I could not keep my head up because I was dozing off. I just relaxed with my arms and legs in the water.
A police officer, who in waking life is not an officer, came to my door. I said hi and then realized something was wrong. He was almost crying. Someone from the police department had died. He did not say it for me to know. I wondered who it was.
A college student, a man, was missing. His friends were all skateboarders and I had mentioned that I would have brought my skateboard if I knew they were all skater nerds. They were going out on their boards looking for the missing guy. One guy got really offended that I called them nerds and I had to answer to one of my bosses about it.

A week ago Sunday, I spent the day in Ocean City, Maryland. It was a place I had not heard of until just over a week ago. It is a gorgeous city with a bay on the west and the Atlantic on the east; only a few blocks of land separate the two on this long and narrow peninsula. The air is breezy but warm. The ocean is sparkling, the beaches are clean. I had mentioned that if not for the tourism, it would be wonderful place to live.
Today I was reading the news. I was reading about a woman who is being charged with murdering her infant baby boy. The police found the remains of 4 apparently pre-term babies at her home. Where did this happen? In Ocean City, MD.
I went to the beautiful city on vacation, to get away from the day-to-day routine. I never imagined that I could be walking past a home (and yes we did walk past it) that was holding such dark secrets. I guess it just goes to show you. No place is perfect. I’m just glad I visited Ocean City, MD last week.

Good news for all you coffee drinkers- Maybe I am just the last to discover this, but Dixie has a great product on the market. It is called Perfec Touch Grab’N GO. They are insulated coffee cups with plastic covers like you would get when you order a coffee from a fast food restaurant or a gas station. Everyone knows the best coffee is made at home because you can make it just how you like it, and for about the same price as 2 gas station coffees (or one from Starbucks), you get a package of 14 cups. I tried one for the first time today and I’m hooked. I am looking forward to enjoying hot tea, hot cocoa, and of course coffee when I am on the go. Check them out- I think you will enjoy them!

I dreamed I was naked in the shower trying to be taught to golf. There was a guy outside of the shower teaching me to swing. He was laughing at me because I was swinging and not making contact at all with the floor. Then I slammed it to the floor trying to swing closer. I turned into the shower and that is when I became slightly embarassed that I wasn’t wearing clothes. I was more concerned about my awful golf swing. I believe there may have been someone else in the shower with me as well.

I dreamed that there was a big black mouse with large ears. I was outside on a guy’s land.  He and his friends were climbing down a cliff that we were at the top of. I lured the mouse to me with a piece of fruit and caught it. I put it into a piece of paper and wrapped it up so it could stay alive, but so I could release it into some woods I couple of miles away. I put the mouse down and went into a building for more food for the mouse. When I came out the mouse was a big female cow. I didn’t remember that it was a mouse. The dream just kept flowing. The cow kept getting away and I would have to lure it back. Then I realized it was wearing a collar. I put a red paisley bandana around the cow’s collar and attached a leash so it could not wonder off. Someone tried to feed the cow a sausage. It took a bite and spit it out. I explained that the cow was not a canibal.

Paris Hilton never fails to be the trendsetter. Looks like the newest trend she started is hard time. After all, she received tons of publicity and it has not hurt her less than angelic image. Following in her footsteps (as usual), facing time is Lindsay Lohan and now Nicole Richie. Richie, who is supposedly pregnant, pleaded guilty to her second DUI. What next? Is there anything left that would shock us from these party girls? And why do I care enought to be typing about it?

I was watching TV a few nights ago, and I saw the Candies commercial with Fergie. Her song, Big Girls Don’t Cry, was part of the commercial. I had to laugh. I never thought about it before; big girls don’t cry OR pee their pants. And she was advertising jeans! What were they thinking? Oh well, we make them, if she pees we have more? SICK. I just can’t bring myself to like or have any respect for Ms. meth head, pissy pants, looka likea man Fergie.

I dreamed thatmy boyfriend gave me one single Packer ticket. I didn’t want to go, but since his family owned the 3 seats nearby I had to because they would be upset if I wasted the ticket.  I got there and sat in the wrong seat. I was near many children. The game had started before I found my seat. The funny thing was, Lambeau was like a high school football field with bleachers. Many seats were empty.

I dreamed of swirling, raging, enveloping flood water. Part of my dream involved the water already being there and the great currents pulling me under as I held my breath. Then I was dreaming that the flood was coming. Everyone was worried and I wasn’t. I knew it wouldn’t be as terrible as forecasted. I was still preparing.

Last night I was watching ABC. It was continually scrolling thunderstorm warnings on the bottom and alternating between doppler and the little map with colored counties on the side. I wasn’t paying much attention until I saw the flash flood warning pop up. Still I was not concerned, but since it was a new warning I read it. It was hilarious! It said, “…seek higher ground. If you are traveling in this direction, turn around. DONT DROWN.” Oh, okay. I was planning on drowning, but if you advise against it, I’ll think again. Thanks ABC.
