Ok, I’m used to Wisconsin’s crazy weather, but come on! Yesterday it reached around 50 degrees and tonight it will be below zero? WHAT? We sure have had a crazy winter for weather. This time I actually took the advice of the weather man and left work early. I feel bad for the people who have to drive in this crap tonight!

WOOOOOOOOOO. I’m getting a tax return!!!!
I just filed my taxes and it only cost me $60 to do them myself. No, I only wish I was kidding. Oh well, I’m excited to get my tax return this year. Mainly because I don’t have plans to spend in on anything, hence the 50 Cent lyrics.

This morning I woke from a dream. I dreamt that I was in the woods and there was a sign warning people about wolves. I was with someone, but I don’t know who it was. We were walking when I saw a scruffy black wolf. It was stalking a little white dog. I couldn’t bear the thought of it getting the dog, so I was trying to distract it. I got in front of it and put the dog on a leash. The person I was with was begging me to let the dog go because the wolf would attack us to get to it. I wouldn’t let it go until finally the wolf was next to us. I tried to scare it away by yelling and standing up to it, but it was hungry and wouldn’t back down. Finally I let the dog go. I panicked when I realized that I let it go and the wolf would get it. Then I noticed a fat grey wolf. I told the wolf to go eat the goat instead. When it looked at the goat I picked up the dog. It wasn’t interested in the goat though, and it started coming at me. I decided that I wasn’t going to back down. I finally worked my way to a building where the dog would be safe. Then I woke up.

Wooooooooooo! Can’t wait for my $600 pull-the-country-away-from-recession-tax-refund-check. Free money from diamonds, free money from good ol’ Uncle Sam. Wonder what I’ll spend it on. Just bought a flat panel LCD HDTV on Monday, just went to Europe… maybe I should save my money this time.

Sweet! There’s a class action suit against a diamond company and anyone who bought diamonds within a 12 year window may be elligable for some moola! I happen to still have the receipt for my diamond, and I’m looking forward to the cash! Yesterday was my first day back to work after vacation and they dropped a bombshell on me. I am again in charge of two offices. I didn’t see that one coming. I was just getting settled in my new office. Oh well, I’m up for new challenges, and I’m flattered that they’ve asked me to do it again.

There’s no place like home. I missed American bathrooms (toilets, showers) more than anything else. Not true; I missed my dog more. Well, I’m back, and though the weather was like spring in London and Paris, and its in the negatives here, I’m still happy to be home.

People drive like idiots in the snow! Today my little sister and I were headed to the mall in Madison when it started snowing. While most of the cars slowed down and stayed in the slow lane, some cars were in the fast lane passing everyone. They were probably the people I saw in the ditch. First we came upon a rollover accident involving an SUV and a car. By the time we got to Madison about 20 minutes later, we saw a total of 6 cars in the ditch. What is wrong with you people? Snow is slippery. Just because you have an SUV does not mean you are invincible; you roll. When all four wheels slip you are screwed! Pull you heads out of your asses and slow down when the roads are bad!!!
