The Boys

Sadie May 6th, 2008

Since I visited my website today for the first time in a month,  I will tell you how disappointed I am with the Brew Crew right now.  I know, me and everyone else.  I’m going to the series against St. Louis this weekend and I have tickets to all but the Monday game.  Yikes.  Not looking so hot.  They can’t win lately!  Maybe its time to suck it up and give Gagne the boot.  That was an effing ten million dollar mistake.

haha

Sweet- I’ve completely abandoned my website for about the past month and I still average 8 whole hits a day.  Maybe I’ll see who still checks my website… leave a post. :)

Puppetry of the Penis

Sadie April 7th, 2008

Am I the only one who is both disgusted and interested by Puppetry of the Penis?  I’ve been hearing about it on the radio and at first I thought it was horribly disgusting, but now I think its funny.  In fact, I’ve grown quite curious about it!  It is genital origami.  Ha! :D For real!  There are such acts as “hamburger,” and “brain.”  Brain?  I wonder if its the same as the brain in the movie Waiting.  I have to google image search some of this stuff!!!

Red Hotttttttt

Sadie April 7th, 2008

I have the most sensitive eyebrows in the world! I just waxed them and as usual they are on fire and uber red! Tomorrow and the next day they will be all bumpy and gross. Gosh, nobody else has this problem. Makes me wonder why I don’t pluck them instead. :D

Oops!

Sadie April 2nd, 2008

Since my boyfriend does not have a digital camera, I ordered one for him out of the blue from a retailer on Amazon.com.  I was hoping it would come by last Friday so he could take some pictures this weekend, but it didn’t.  It came on Monday.  I opened it to take a peek before I gave it to him only to find that they sent me red instead of black!  Ugh!  Well, it is a super nice red.  I like red.  Sure would be a pain to send it back.  Okay, so I decided to keep it and re-order it for him in silver.  It’s not as nice as the camera he got me; it has fewer functions and features, but its very tiny and that makes it very convenient to keep in my purse.  I think Luke will like his, but now he has to wait a bit longer. :)

Funny You Should Mention It…

Sadie March 30th, 2008

On Friday night I saw 4 old friends; people I couldn’t probably still be friends with because of our lifestyle differences, some good, some bad.  It was nice though.  I just today thought about my blog I wrote regarding people in your lives.  Funny that I just wrote that and then see people I thought I may never see again.  It was not completely comfortable being with these people, but at the same time it was.  I didn’t always know what to say, but neither did they.  We just don’t know one another anymore.  The strange thing is that all of these people were pretty close friends of mine at one time.  Maybe I’ll never see some of them again.  Maybe I will but we wont recognize each other.  Maybe I’ll see them a lot.  You just never know.

My Horoscope for March 29 (Taurus)

Sadie March 29th, 2008

If you are thinking of going on any type of a vacation adventure, you had better start getting organized. Otherwise it might never happen. Making travel plans might seems like a lot of effort at first, but it will actually be quite fun once you get going. There are tons of websites, books, magazines and even television shows that will give you great ideas about where to go and what to do. Take some time to run through all your many options, then start booking.

I have been thinking about making travel plans again.  I just don’t know where I want to go.  Where should I go this time?

Here Kitty Kitty

Sadie March 28th, 2008

I just heard about this sick story on the news this morning.  I was surprised also to hear that today, March 28th, is Respect Your Cat Day.

Cedarburg - A husband and wife who kept more than 100 cats in a house each have been charged in Ozaukee County with 30 misdemeanors accusing them of failing to provide food and water for the animals and failing to provide the cats with minimum standards of sanitation. The couple, Michael A. Rossobillo, 61, and Carol A. Munden, 58, could not be reached for comment Thursday. They are charged with 10 counts each of failing to provide proper food to confined animals, failing to adequately provide water to the animals and failing to provide minimum sanitation standards for the animals.Rossobillo said this month that he has not lived in the house at N73-W6957 Walnut St. for about three months. He said Munden moved out of the house in March 2007.“It got a little dirty, and it was nasty in the basement,” Rossobillo said in an interview March 3. “But (the cats) weren’t mistreated. They weren’t.”Each charge carries a maximum fine of $10,000 and nine months in jail.Police officers who entered the couple’s house Feb. 21 “were overcome by stench of urine and layers of cat feces throughout the ranch home,” according to a criminal complaint.“Two officers could only remain in the home 30 seconds . . . ” before they had to go out and get some fresh air, the complaint says. The Ozaukee County Health Department found the conditions of the house constituted a health hazard, and on March 3, it gave the couple 30 days, or until Tuesday, to clean and sanitize the house.Nineteen dead and decomposing cats were found in the home, and at least four of the live cats had to be euthanized.

Staff members of the Ozaukee County Humane Society who rescued the remaining cats found that they all suffered from dehydration, and more than 40% of the cats had upper respiratory infections.

Fifteen of the rescued cats have been adopted, and another 10 cats are up for adoption, Angela Speed, an Ozaukee Humane Society spokeswoman, said Thursday.

Society staffers removed 120 cats from the house, she said, including those that were dead or had to be euthanized. The society is working to restore the health of the remaining cats so they can be adopted, Speed said.

The Humane Society’s appeals for contributions to cover the cats’ treatment have resulted in contributions of about $10,000, she said.

Sick, I know.  Well anyway, respect your cat today.  Give it an extra treat or something.  I’m not sure how else you respect a cat…

Screw it.

Ever wish you could control your emotions?  I don’t mean control your reaction to your emotions, but just control your emotion.  I wish  I could.  I wouldn’t bottle so much up that way.  I think I am frustrated and angry lately.  Oh well, you can’t so screw it.

Better Left Unspoken

Sadie March 24th, 2008

Sometimes there are people in our lives who even when gone will never leave us completely.  Some of these people I long for closure with.  Many I will never have that closure with.  There are things I’d love to tell people; things better left unspoken.  People become such a strong part of your life that when they are gone, whether by choice or not, they take a piece of you with them.  The crazy part is that most of the time you don’t realize it’s the last time you will ever see that person or at least with the same connection you used to have.  If you do happen to see them again it can be a little weird and uncomfortable.  There are people I’d love to be completely open, vulnerable, and honest with, but never will.  I suppose it’s better off that way.
