Too Close for Comfort

Where was I at 2:30 this afternoon? I was pulling out of a restaurant parking lot on the east side of Madison, wondering what the sirens were for, mentioning that I was tired, let’s not go to West Towne Mall like we had been planning. I got no further than just past the exit for I90, which I would have taken to the mall, when I heard on the radio that there was a 20 car pile-up. Thank God, for some reason I decided not to go at the very last minute. Now the news has reported that the pile-up involved 100 cars before it stopped. Shortly after skipping my exit onto I90 I received one of those forwarded chain text messages on my phone. What did it say? It said, “I’ve sent angels to watch over you.”
